The Fort Vancouver Good Sams Chapter got its start in 2000. We camp during the months of April - October. During the winter months we meet monthly at a local restaurant that lets us use a room for our meetings. In the past we have held a Christmas party where we all bring presents that go to Military Family Assistance. We also make annual donations to The Aphasia Network which has a Stroke Camp & Couples Camp and other support. They partner with Pacific University of Forest Grove, OR. Another charity we contribute to every year is Dogs for Better Lives of Oregon.
A big reason people join the Good Sam Club and Chapters is so they can lend a helping hand to others. This directly coincides with the inspiration behind the Good Sam Club - the Good Samaritan. Many opportunities exist for ways you and your local Chapter can get involved with this spirit of giving.
